How does DigaSign work?
- The expense report or any other documents would be posted to DigaSign
from any Window's based application like Word, Excel, WordPerfect etc.
- In DigaSign, the notary would indicate who
needs to sign the document and where the signature, initial, date and
acknowledgment fields, like State, County, he or she etc. would be
located.
- The lobbyist who needs to sign off on the
expense report would personally appear before the DigaSign notary and sign
their name on the signature pad - just like it was a piece of paper.
- The DigaSign notary would then export the
signed expense report as a TIFF or PDF file and emailed to the Secretary of
State.
- For .40¢ page, DigaSign is less than paper management when you count employee time, printer, toner, envelopes,
paper stamps etc.
- DigaSign is purchased by the user seat.
A notary from your office would purchase DigaSign PRO for a one time cost of
$295 which includes a biometric signature pad.

DigaSign has three user types: DESIGNER, SIGNER and PRO.
DESIGNER allows any Windows based documents to be posted
to DigaSign where they enter the signer data and establish the
signature, initial, date etc. coordinates. The system issues
a package key and the user issues a password. The
DESIGNER can email this information to the authorized users
for their review, signature or notarization. DESIGNER
give the user the ability to setup custom prompts and templates
for frequently used documents.
SIGNER accommodates situations where documents need
to be signed but not notarized. Once installed,
SIGNER
has
the same features as DESIGNER but comes with a
biometric signature pad to acquire the signature of the
user or other individual's signature required for the
document. When used in combination with custom
prompts, this feature allows for "witnessed" signature capture.
PRO has all the features of
DESIGNER and
SIGNER
but includes the professional seal of the user.
